Martin & Laura

We are a husband and wife social and commercial photographic team, based in Mauritius’ idyllic Blue Bay.  We share a passion for crafting beautiful images that tell moving stories.

We have been shooting together under the Andeye brand for over six years, with Martin shooting his first wedding back in 1994.  Laura is a Licentiate of the British Institute of Professional Photographers and Martin holds a PhD in… well, don’t ask.  Following these qualifications we were trained together under a form of apprenticeship by one of the UK’s top husband and wife photographic studios – back when shooting as a husband and wife was considered novel.

In our early years in the UK we focused mainly on weddings and portraiture, with Laura specialising in babies and children.  When we moved to Dubai, our attention shifted towards our own children (Jewel & Grace), and to models for fashion and commercial work.

We started to search for the ideal location for weddings and people-based commercial work in 2009 and concluded that it is Mauritius.  Hence we moved to Blue Bay in August 2011.
